Jake the Elephant
In 2012, at 12 weeks pregnant, my water broke with our 4th child, Jacob Bradley. I was also pregnant with his twin sister, Juliet Marie. I carried them both for another 13 weeks when they were delivered at 25 weeks, (almost 4 months early). Juliet is now healthy little girl, but Jacob Bradley passed away at 2 days old. In June 2014, I started bring "Jake the Elephant" with us on family vacations, as a way to "hold" Jacob's place in our family photos.
This is his story. The places he goes, the things he does, and the people he meets, all in honor of our little boy Jacob.
Port Aransas was where it all started. We took the family back to Port A in June 2014. Jake the Elephant had a blast playing in the sand, seaweed and hanging out with "his twin" Juliet. Such a great first trip out with the family! Coming home covered in sand and smelling like the beach.
